The fee for a Licence varies for different organisations within the education sector. Educational institutions covered by the Licence enter into a remuneration agreement with Copyright Agency for the payment of a licence fee.
Most universities, TAFEs and schools are covered under blanket agreements and have a separately negotiated fee with Copyright Agency.
All other providers (i.e. private colleges, training arms, RTOs, community colleges, professional associations, pre-schools etc) pay annually on an individual basis. New licences can be priced and purchased online through the RightsPortal.
The fee varies depending on whether the organisation is commercial (i.e. For Profit) or non-commercial (i.e. Not For Profit).
