You have the option of giving another person access to your Copyright Agency membership account.
Why grant access to your account?
If you are the primary contact for your account in an organisation, you might want to give access to your financial controller or royalties administrator. Each person you provide access to will get their own login to the member portal.
If you’re a creator, you might give access to your accountant or agent so that they can access information directly as required.
When you invite someone to share your account, they must accept the invitation before they can access any of your information.
How to share access to your account with another member
- In the Member Portal, click your account name in the top right hand then Account > Manage access
- Click + Invite User
- Enter the name and email address of the member you want to invite
- Add your own message if you want – this is an optional step.
- Select ‘Send Invite’
The person will receive an email inviting them to share your account. They do not need to be a Copyright Agency member.
If the invitation has been accepted, the contact will appear under Current Users along with any other people you’re sharing your account with.
Unaccepted invitations appear under Pending Invites and will stay there until the person accept their email invitation.
To revoke access
- Select the contact
- Click ‘Revoke access’
- Click ‘Confirm’
To change the level of access
- Select Edit
- Select the new access level
- Click ‘Confirm’
Receiving an invitation to share a Copyright Agency member’s account
If you’re invited to share a Copyright Agency member’s account and want to proceed, all you’ll need to do is confirm your name and email and create your own password.
Tip: If you are a Copyright Agency member and already have a Member Portal login, you can use your existing email and password to join another account – there’s no need to set up another one. We’ll automatically send you to the right spot. Once successfully linked, you’ll be able to switch between accounts.
