Depending on the information we have about your work, you might receive 100% of a payment which then would need to be shared with other rightsholders, based on your publishing contract.

To identify where this is the case, look at the payment spreadsheet that you received with your payment summary as well as the Notes section of your payment summary.

If the terms:

• Default
• Default pre-claimed, or
• Nominated recipient

appear in the Notes section, you may be obliged to share some of this payment with other parties to your contract, such as your publisher and/or co-authors.

If you are not sure of the correct splits, please check your contract or contact your publisher.
